On October 30, 2009 Covercraft Industries, Inc. acquired Colgan Customs, the Irvine, CA manufacturer of the top of the line front-end bra.   The move of the Colgan manufacturing process to Pauls Valley began back in February 2010.  The complete conversion will take some time as all patterns have to be digitized for incorporation into Covercraft's CAD system.

The good news for Colgan Custom fans is that Covercraft was able to retain several of key Colgan Custom employees. I am sure some of them, after the recent tornado attack, are saying "what was I thinking?", but I am sure Covercraft was thinking that this will almost guarantee that the quality and craftsmanship that go hand in hand with the Colgan Custom name will also be retained. To further assure that Colgan Custom will stand for high quality and superior fit, Covercraft is keeping the manufacturing of the Colgan Custom line in the good old USA.
