Global Accessories Sold (again!) to Covercraft

Covercraft Industries, Inc. has entered into an agreement to purchase most of the assets of Global Accessories, Inc., which includes their Wolf Automotive, Powersports and Marine covers, LeBra front end covers, DashMat dashboard covers, Premier Floor Mats and Spidy Gear cargo web product lines. Global's lines of Downey Products and LeBra tonneau covers were not included in the purchase.
The question still remains, what are all the owners of LeBra Tonneau covers going to do for parts? Stay tuned.

Covercraft Industries, Inc. has entered into an agreement to purchase most of the assets of Global Accessories, Inc., which includes their Wolf Automotive, Powersports and Marine covers, LeBra front end covers, DashMat dashboard covers, Premier Floor Mats and Spidy Gear cargo web product lines. Global's lines of Downey Products and LeBra tonneau covers were not included in the purchase.
The transaction was concluded on Monday, June 15, 2009.
Management is in the process of determining how and when production of
the Global Accessories products will resume.
Headquartered in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Covercraft Industries is
the largest manufacturer of custom-patterned vehicle covers in the
world, along with a wide variety of products for exterior and interior
vehicle protection, including seat protectors, front end masks, window
heat shields, trunk organizers, specialty covers and Canine Covers pet
travel items.
With manufacturing plants located in Pauls Valley, OK, Wichita
Falls, TX and Mexicali, Mexico, the Covercraft team is certified to
both TS16949:2002 and ISO 14001.
Well, well, well. So much for letters of intent. No word on what happened to the supposed sale to Coverking that Global Accessories announced on June 2nd. Maybe that was just a ploy to bring more players to the table.The question still remains, what are all the owners of LeBra Tonneau covers going to do for parts? Stay tuned.
