If you have shopped for a Wolf car cover since the first of the year you may have noticed a warning message on the last page of the product selector.  The message, in red type warns of a possible order delay of 3 - 4 weeks!

Wolf Automotive has had an on going supply problem with their Noah material for several months.  The problems have also been felt in some of the other fabrics Wolf uses, most notably Dustop.  The supply problems began right before the critical Christmas shopping season and was exasperated by the receipt of a shipment of fabric after Christmas that was not up to specification and had to be returned.

The source of the problem, according to Global Accessories (Wolf's parent company) is attributed Kimberly Clark, the manufacturer of the Noah fabric.  I tried to gather more information about this situation, but I have not found any mention of it on the internet or in any trade journals.

The problem is not limited to AccessorizeYourVehicle.com.  We have received calls from other web site's customers who called us by mistake and want to know where their car cover is.  However, the problem does seem specific to Wolf since Covercraft seems to be shipping their covers very promptly.  It could be that Covercraft has a better inventory and so has not been effected by the fabric shortage where as Wolf was low on inventory do to a recent move of their operations from Ohio to south of the border.

Regardless of the cause, Wolf hopes to have their inventory replenished and back orders filled by the end of February.  However, they were reporting at the end of last week that they are once again out of the Noah material.
